In the 2006–2007 school year, DSUSD implemented READ 180 with 166 sixth- through ninth-grade ELLs who performed at the Below-Basic or Basic Performance Level on the California Standards Tests (CST) ELA. Results confirmed that READ 180 ELLs outperformed their peers by 62%.
